Hi and welcome to my website!

My name is Mostafa and I am a highly sociable Toronto-based photographer specializing in weddings, engagements, surprise proposals, portraits, and events (birthdays, corporate events, Baptism, Communion, Bar/Bat Mitzvah etc.). In my career which began during my time in Australia back in 2011, I have done over 400 events and 800 portraits. That includes photographing the then Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, Australian Living National Treasure Thomas Keneally, and the 2015 AFC Asian Cup in Sydney.

I love meeting people from around the globe. I have shot weddings and engagements from over 30 countries including the US, the UK, Australia, France, Sweden, Romania, Israel, Denmark, Netherlands, Dominican Republic, Serbia, the Caribbean, China, India, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Russia, Iran, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Philippines, Vietnam, Congo, Brundi, Zimbabwe etc.

Education-wise, I have a PhD in English Literature from Australia focusing on cultural studies which inform my unique approach to photography and my zeal to learn about languages and cultures. I published my first book with Peter Lang in 2019 (link to publisher & Amazon).
